Sarah was invaluable at the start of our campaign to Save Bristol Zoo Gardens. None of us were social media experts and Sarah was great in getting us from a standstill to a position where we had a number of active media platforms and channels. These were an invaluable part of raising public awareness in Bristol and have helped put pressure on the decision makers.

Sarah worked for the Save Bristol Zoo Gardens Campaign running the social media and marketing, from December 2022 until April 2023. In that time, she helped us take our social media presence from non-existent to highly visible across multiple platforms. She used a very effective scheduling tool to post on the different platforms which was not something we were aware of until that point. Sarah provided us with weekly analytics and helped us understand what was working and what we could do better. Sarah was able to both work to a brief or be more creative and independently minded, depending on what was required. She also did an excellent job designing flyers and posters for the campaign, often within a quick turnaround window. In her time working for us, Sarah can take a lot of credit for creating a much-enhanced public profile for the SBZG campaign, having worked extensively on our public facing activities. Sarah worked with Five Rivers Child Care Communications team on an interim contract, creating organic social media posts and a weekly email newsletter to staff across the organisation. Combined with her creativity and professionalism, Sarah was highly responsive to feedback and learned quickly from guidance provided.
