I’m Sarah. I help businesses make sense of their digital marketing and put plans into action. I work directly with business owners who want clear guidance and support, and I help marketing teams and agencies with their day-to-day operations and project delivery.

I run My Kind of Marketing, helping businesses make sense of their digital marketing.
I started this business because I love helping people build meaningful connections through marketing. After years of writing social media posts, updating websites, running events, and project managing, I’ve learned that the best results come from building real relationships with people. It’s about getting to know your business, understanding your customers, and helping you connect with them in a way that feels natural. And I know how to break this down into simple, manageable steps.

How I work
I start by understanding where you are with your marketing. Maybe you’re completely new and not sure where to start, or you’re already doing some things but want better results. Then we work out what you need – whether that’s me showing you how to do things yourself, giving you a clear plan to follow, or handling it all for you.
I work with all kinds of businesses – from care homes and companionship services to style-focused opticians and foster care agencies. I’ve helped education consultants share their expertise with the right people, supported busy marketing teams in law firms, and managed social media for advertising agencies.
Some of my clients want to learn how to do their own marketing, while others prefer to hand over their social media, blogs, and newsletters to someone they can trust to get it done.
Every week is different (that’s what I love about it!). One day I might be writing internal newsletters for a fostering social enterprise, the next I’m managing social media for a care home. I’ve created content for a campaign to save Bristol Zoo, and project managed a marketing team for a law firm.
I’m based near Cheltenham but work with businesses all over the UK. Think of me as your marketing friend who just gets things done with no fuss.

Sarah worked for the Save Bristol Zoo Gardens Campaign running the social media and marketing, from December 2022 until April 2023. In that time, she helped us take our social media presence from non-existent to highly visible across multiple platforms.
